Initially established in 2003, GO WISE Real Estate closed for 10 years and reopened in 2013 ready to provide old-fashioned customer service to Darwin locals. As a boutique agency, we don’t just take on any property listings. We pick and choose listings we are passionate about selling, or managing, to help our clients get the very best return on their property. Our team also enforce the 3-strike policy, whereby property offenders will be evicted if they continue to violate or damage property. At GO WISE Real Estate, we were the first Darwin real estate company to purchase the $10,000 Matterport 3D Camera. This technology allows us to provide vendors and landlords with a 3D walkthrough.

Carole Peat

  • Position: Principle & Senior Property Manager (AL1077)
My family and I moved to Darwin in 1984. Over the years I have established a strong network of friends and business colleagues. For the past 20 years, I have worked alongside my son to develop a highly awarded finance brokerage business, WISE Finance, which has helped hundreds of people buy their little part of the Territory and other parts of Australia. In 2013, we reopened GO WISE Real Estate, to assist our clients building their wealth portfolios. Utilising our property management skills we do our best to protect our client’s investments.

George Peat

Since arriving in the Territory at the age of 14, I have personally experienced the growth and potential of Darwin and surrounding areas. 20 years ago, we, as a family, opened WISE Finance—a boutique finance brokering business specialising in helping local Territorian’s access mortgage products that were not being offered locally at the time. As our clients grew into multi-property investors, we wanted to help protect their investments, so we launched GO WISE Real Estate to ensure our clients had a trusted option in property management.

I recently signed a lease in Darwin city through GO WISE Real Estate. I moved from Perth for new employment with an immediate start, which initially proved stressful. I was living out of a hotel room and was busy learning my new employment duties, which left very little time to attend typical rental inspections. GO WISE helped me by providing a weekend inspection and, knowing my circumstances, the GO WISE agent processed my application within 24 hours on his day off.

As I did not have a car at the time, the agent later met up with me to sign the lease and thoroughly went through the entire contract. Furthermore, GO WISE discovered that my furniture would not arrive for several weeks. So the agent quickly secured me some basic essentials like a fridge and TV until my belongings arrived.
